Norte is a magazine for interior design lovers. The objective was to create a high-quality publication, functioning as a printed showroom that seamlessly blending into the aesthetic of any home. Commissioned by Casa Palacio, a distinguished interior design store with over 200 brands of tailored made and exclusive pieces, including iconic names like Fendi Casa and Eichholtz, Norte sought to encapsulate the depth, quality, and refined taste synonymous with Casa Palacio's offerings. The resulting editorial project skillfully balanced brand elegance and avant-garde design, incorporating classic elements for a distinctive aesthetic.
A key element of the solution was the creation of a custom logotype, designed to mirror the brand's personality – a blend of classic sophistication with unexpected touches.The magazine's layout featured a strategic play of hierarchies in titles and body text, ensuring a dynamic and engaging reading experience. White spaces were deliberately emphasized to provide visual breaks, providing readers with moments of reprieve to appreciate the carefully curated photographs and designs. The art direction of the visuals exhibited a thoughtful interplay of hard lights and shadows. This comprehensive project seamlessly integrated various design disciplines, including branding, typography, and editorial, resulting in a magazine that authentically captures the essence of Casa Palacio.
